My name is Evan L., and this site was established on September 27, 2005. I was born in the United States in 1972, but I have lived in Taiwan for the past 8 years. I teach English part-time, but my life goal is the meaning of life & happiness (the invisible life), and peace on earth. For my own life, I have discovered them to be One & the Same. I believe both are ultimately connected with each other, because one cannot exist for very long without the other.
These writings are the result of many years of thinking & searching, and I consider my favorite essays among my most prized possessions. I hope that something I have written may be helpful or encouraging to others on their own life journeys - for that is what I had wished for myself a long time ago. This online archive is dedicated to all those who are seeking their own life happiness.
As for the name of this site: I love the sky, and I continue to believe in the possibility of both personal happiness and collective happiness on this earth - which is a state of heaven.
