I would like to offer a thorough review for each title, but I neither own most of these books, nor do I remember what impact they may have had on me. But all have been educational, enlightening, encouraging, reconfirming, or inspirational to me in some way.
Having said that, I personally do not recommend reading too many books. I believe books can be helpful and useful, but only to an extent. They serve as guides and mirrors to life, not answer keys to it. They can answer some questions, but they cannot give you all the answers to your own life.
For your life is unique, and cannot be captured within any book written by a person who has never even known you. A book can tell you what another person thinks is the truth, but it cannot tell you what you think is the truth. This is why I believe that all the answers to your life, and everything you need, are ultimately inside you, and not inside any book.
Jonathon Livingston Seagull, by Richard Bach - the first book which ever inspired me.
Illusions, by Richard Bach - the sequel.
The Little Prince, by Antoine St. Exupery - perceptive. Excellent even for adults.
Siddhartha, by Hermann Hesse - enlightening. If you like short reads, pick this one.
Nature, Man and Woman, by Alan Watts - educational.
My Dinner with Andre, by Wallace Shawn - a great conversation.
The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho - very inspirational fictional fairytale.
The Tao Te Ching - extremely wise.
Tuesdays with Morrie, by Mitch Albom - touching.
The Road Less Traveled, by M. Scott Peck - very insightful. The best psychology book I've ever read.
Many Mansions, by Gina Cerminara - interesting. About reincarnation.
The Aquarian Gospel*, by Levi H. Dowling - alternative Gospel of Jesus. Extremely illuminating.
Conversations with God, by Neale Donald Walsch - a revolutionary eye-opener. 5-part series. Not the God you think. If you're going to choose any books to read from this list, then choose this one.
